At Authentically Me, we believe wellness isn’t just about individual growth—it’s about community, connection, and having fun along the way. That’s why each month, we come together for Wellness Wednesday, a free event open to both men and women, designed to energize your body, refresh your mind, and help you connect with others.

This Month’s Event: Boxing, Movement, Breath, and Coffee

This month, we’re hosting a dynamic Boxing session, organized by Richie Palmer and facilitated by the incredible coaches at Good Vibes Boxing. No matter your fitness level, this class is designed for everyone—whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned boxer. Coaches V and Keam will guide you through a fun, energizing session that includes movement, boxing techniques, and breathwork to help you unwind.

We’ll wrap up with a calming breathwork exercise and finish the morning with coffee, giving you time to connect with like-minded people and enjoy a relaxed chat after all the action.

What to Bring: Just wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle. We’ve got all the boxing gear you’ll need!

Last year, we had enormous success with our Blue Collar Breathwork event, co-facilitated by Adam Stucky, where participants practiced breathing techniques to help reset the mind and body. We also hosted a Blue Collar Ice Bath event, co-facilitated by Ryan Rowlands, which was a hit! Participants braved the ice bath and experienced the rejuvenating effects of cold exposure, followed by breathwork and reflection.

Why Wellness Wednesday?

Wellness Wednesday is designed to help you prioritize your physical, mental, and emotional health in a fun, supportive environment. Each month brings something new—whether it’s boxing, golf, breathwork, or even an ice bath—our goal is to create space for movement, connection, and reflection. We believe that wellness should be an enjoyable journey, one that helps you connect deeply with yourself and with others in your community.

 

Previous Events

Each month brings something new and exciting! Last month, we met at the golf driving range in Wembley, where around 20 of us came together to have some fun whacking golf balls and enjoying a laugh, followed by coffee and connection. It was a morning filled with lighthearted competition and community bonding.

Previous Event Highlight: 100 Consecutive Days of Ice Bathing

At Wellness Wednesday, we believe in pushing ourselves beyond the ordinary to tap into our true potential. One of the most transformative events we’ve hosted was the 100 Consecutive Days of Ice Bathing Challenge, where participants immersed themselves in daily ice baths to challenge both mind and body.

This event was co-facilitated by Ryan Rowlands, who led the group through the invigorating experience of cold exposure. The benefits of ice baths go far beyond physical resilience—they teach us to manage stress, stay calm under pressure, and boost overall mental clarity. Throughout the 100 days, participants built not only physical strength but mental toughness as well, learning to embrace discomfort and find peace within it.

Each session ended with breathwork exercises to help participants recover, reflect, and reset, creating a holistic wellness experience. The event brought together individuals looking to challenge themselves in a supportive environment, and the community it fostered became one of the highlights of our Wellness Wednesday series.
